AD the songwriter at it again
Here he is with his twelve string gat. He told me that he first started playing with a 12 string then hasn’t gone back. I guess there are some ol’ timers like that who can’t change. But that’s all good n’ all.
He came today to retrack and retake vox for his song “Hang on Micheline.” I added my voice to his passages as well as my usual recording, mixing and mastering touch.

New track on the stillbliss mp3 player called “Paradise”

With Summer here I thought I’d work on a track that has been in the back of my mind for a while now, and has just become reality, it’s called “Paradise.” You can hear this song in the mp3 player (which is located on the right of every page.)

Today Chris mailed me from France where he lives and asked me to remix and remaster his ‘Songs’ album for him. I did that… of course, as well as adding a touch of my guitar playing skillz to his tracks. This is a remastered, polished version of his album entitled ‘Songs’. All by Chris Larke.

Here is a nice dude with a Nashville style guitar skill. He played tonight real well, and sang beautifully as well. We recorded alot of songs with his partner Martin Leroux. They will be coming back this Friday to complete their studio sessions. Otsukare summer.

Today was an unsual day, being that I recorded four track of live guitars and vocals. I usually don’t find myself listening to the words of the music as intently as I did on todays session. Martin Leroux and Mike, both nice guys, have something up their sleeve when it comes to a bit of comedy, country, and love songs. They willl be coming back tommorow.
Their songs cover, twitter, Facebook, Myspace & life’s ups and downs. All with a bit of flare, grit, and a bit of pizzaz. All recorded & mixed at Stillblissstudios.
Bonvoyage Chris Larke!
He will be traveling to France from this Island of Japan, He graced us with his presence here at Stillblissstudios, and we won’t forget his beautiful aura and style. In honour of his trip to France here is his latest song called, “Island Style” from his album entitled ‘Going for the pop jugular,’ on the stillbliss MP3 player. Soon to be released on Itunes and cd baby.
All mixed recorded and mastered here at stillblissstudios.
Bonvoyage Chris!

Chris Larke & the finals
I know that the end of soccer is here, and that everyone is watching soccer. But Chris and I are hacking it out in the studio. Why? Well, because we love music. I know he does. And so do I, so there’s two. We went to a local bar and drank some beer, and it was relaxing and fun. But Someone who comes to a studio and hacks out a couple hours, isnt just crazy, but dream filled. Someone can do anything, and that someone is YOU. The reader. Go ahead, eat spam, but this ain’t spam.
Chris, I know you are reading this, and you’ve got a great voice. Thanks for giving me a great time tonight, and always coming to the studio. Even if someone says you don’t have a great voice. I believe in YOU, and your songwriting talent, and perserverance.
Thank you for all those good times.
