Chris Larke is coming over so much that I have to write another post on him. Last night we recorded voclas for two of his songs. We are going for a more polished vocal sound this time around. He will be coming over for the next few months before he moves to France…Let’s make sure we get this right Chris, before you leave.
I am sure he will finish his album entitled “Going for the pop jugular.” Which will be mastered, recorded, & mixed here in this studio.

They came over yesterday to my studio to rework some magic, that happens most of the time here. We retook vocals for the female singer of this band, as well as retracking bass. The session was a bit light hearted at first, but after a bit of drinks and a lunch break from the nearby convenient store things lightened up a bit. We also took some time just to relax and chill in the studio. After all that IS what a label does. Let’s the clients decide their pace. That’s what we do here in this studio/label.

The band is paying me $450 dollars to produce 3 songs for their single.  The song “Go ahead” as well as one more number is written by me. the band in a sense will be promoting my songwriting and melodic talent. They are a punk band from Japan, who are serious in their studio sesion style as well as their paycheck. All recorded, mixed and mastered in Sonar.

They will be coming over to my studio for the next few months perhaps to retrack retake repolish and reconfirm their album, to their liking.

Yesterday Larke brought over a friend to his session. We worked on two of his songs. I will send the mp3’s to him once I get back to the studio. I played E-guitar, E-Bass, the drums, pads etc, and Larke recorded his ever so handy accoustic Takamine, as I setup the mics, and mixed his songs to perfection. Later on we went out and had dinner together at an indian restaurant.

Last night I came back home from a Gundam show in Odaiba, Tokyo, & when I saw his package in my house I was like, no ways-Adriano Zappatta made his album! And he sent it to me, what a nice reminder of the good times in the studio together. 9 of his 14 songs were recorded here at Stillblissstudios. But man, another good day.

He came yesterday for 5 hours of session time to work on two of his songs which he will continue to work on over the next months. I played bass, drums, electric guitar and pads for his tracks. Overall we enjoyed another great Stillbliss session.

He also brought his first debut album ’Songs’ (which was all mixed, mastered & recorded here at Stillbliss) to the studio to trade with mine. I will put up pictures of his album once I get back to the studio.

今日は２曲彼の曲をレコーディングして、楽しかったです。８時間セッションの後、彼が500缶のビールとオレンジジュースを買って一緒に飲みました。これらの曲は彼が家に帰った後、彼のマイスペースにアップロードされます。

Today we recorded two of his songs, it was fun. He bought me two 500 ml cans of beer & some orange juice, and then we drank after we finished the 8 hour session.

His songs will be uploaded to his Myspace once he gets back to his house.

今日ジャゴがスティルブリスに来て7時間かけて2曲レコーディングをしました。近くのローソンで昼食を買って休憩をとりました。

そして悪いバイブが出てこないように、セッションの間にも休憩をとりました。

Today Jago came over to stillbliss to record two songs for 7 hours. We took a lunch break at the nearby lawsons. And a couple of breaks in between to shake off any bad vibes that comes from staying to cramped up in one place.

I will stick up his songs in the MP3 stillbliss radio player once I get back to the studio.
