Jesse Sou Pritchard & Stillblissstudios
Jesse Sou Pritchard:
Jesse has been listening to music since he was real small, and always had an interest in recorded music. Since he was small he would listen to Christian recordings and secular ones as well. From a young age he picked up the guitar and from then he started his quest in music. At the ripe early age of 11 he mastered first position chords on the guitar as well as honed his God given talent of relative pitch, and strength of melody.
At age 16 he lived in a missionary home with talented singers, and started playing in a three piece band. At the home his dad built a studio out of a shack. His parents eventually moved to another location, and he stayed to perfect his guitar and work with the other missionary family’s children. He successfully completed the guitarcollege.com rhythm course that his dad bought for him, and also scoured the net for useful information about music theory and guitar. Later his friend in his band (Steven Mcnair) started to get into recording on a computer using fruity loops and Sonar. From then on Jesse’s interest in recording music was once sparked again. He later moved to Kanagawa with his family and later built a studio with his father. Over the course of 11 years of studying music and performing in bands, he realized that recording held its share of excitement and joy. So he studied recording and bought books off the net as well as visiting various forums and sites. He purchased the Waves (mixing and mastering) course off Amazon. And since then has worked in Sonar and hasn’t left.
Since building his studio he has produced 7 artists albums with great praise. Usually lending a hand out to each clients needs whether it be playing, guitar, bass, and punching in drum beats. Or the usual black art of Recording, mixing, and mastering. Either way he has been driven with passion to continually upgrade and purchase better equipment, but at the same time taking into account and utilizing the equipment he owns now.
Jesse has a whole studio album out on CD baby and itunes for purchase, but his main goal is to get the clients that come to his studio, the best studio experience and sound as possible.
Stillblissstudios:
The studio is a Yamaha sound studio located in the sunny, rolling hills and rivers of Kanagawa prefecture, which is completely sound proof, and is the main recording room.
At this moment we are still working on Jesse’s producers room. Once it is complete this will give Jesse the chance to monitor the sound in a seperate enclosed sound room. This website is Jesse’s way of saying, please come and visit us, and we will promote you and your music, on the MP3 player which is our own little radio player for the Stillblissstudios artists fans.
